November Mentorship Sessions

EP will be continuing its ongoing mentorship sessions this month with Susan Adler Kaplan '58 MAT '65 on November 18th and November 19th from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

To schedule for a session, please email ep@brown.edu.

Ms. Kaplan is an educational consultant, writer and editor. She was both a teacher and administrator in the Providence Public Schools as well as an adjunct professor at Roger Williams University and Providence College. She consulted to publishers, the College Board, and the National Center on Education and the Economy. She is a founding member of the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, appointed by the Carnegie Corporation. A Brown Trustee Emerita, she chairs the Corporation Emeriti Executive Committee and serves on both the Admissions Council and the Brown Tougaloo Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Miriam Hospital Board of Governors and heads its Community Relations Committee.

We are pleased to announce that Katherine Flynn '81, Director of Business Development of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation will be offering two days of mentorship sessions on October 23rd and October 24th.

As director of business development for the RIEDC, Ms. Flynn helps businesses with whatever they need to prosper within the state. Prior to her current position, she was a a sector lead in the consumer goods industry and spent over 20 years on Wall Street serving in a variety of roles.

EP Kickoff Event
